71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda

Only 11 Plymouth Hemi Cuda's were ever made. That makes them one of the most desirable Mopar's around. A 71 is about to hit the auction block at the upcoming Scottsdale action. This is the only one that was sprayed with the Mopar known color Plum Crazy. It was also the one of two to be exported to Canada. The car comes with a 427 cubic inch Hemi V8. It has dual four carburetors and the Track Pak option. while looking amazing today it was five days away from being crushed until it was found by Cuda specialist Harold Sullivan. It took two years to get the car to where it is at now. That was made possible by Cummins Restoration and Ted Mazurek. They are not sure if it is a matching numbers car but through its sad history they guess not. The car is still a very desirable car and is most likely going to get its top dollar crossing the block.

There has been some information leaked about the 2015 SRT Barracuda. We don't have any information about what it will look like buy they say it would be about the size to the current Ford Mustang. Compared to the current Dodge Challenger the Barracuda will lose 6 inches in wheel base and 8 overall. It will also be about 300 pounds lighter. They say they might a have a bottom of the line model which will have a  2.4 liter engine as used in the Dodge Dart. they will also have a more muscle model with either a 5.7 HEMI or 6.4 HEMI. They say that the 6.4 HEMI is more likely to be used.

The New Cop Cars.

You might have have seen some new cop cars around lately. That's because they are getting rid of most of the well known Crown Victorias. The first new one is the 2012 Dodge Charger Pursuit. Under the hood of the beast is a HEMI V8. Its a 5.7 liter V8 with 370 horses, five speed auto. Its definitive the bad boy out of the three. The next is the 2012 Chevy Caprice. Under the hood of this one is a 6.0 liter V8 which pumps out around 350 horses. Last but not least of the new cop cars is the 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan. It has a smaller 3.5 liter V6 with twin turbos. That puts you at around 365 horse power. Be sure to look around your neighborhood for these beasts. They're pretty good looking!

GT350

Although Carroll Shelby did pass away not to long ago that does not mean that shelby has stopped modifying cars. The new 2013 Shelby GT350 was released! There is only about 350 of them they they going  to produce. It is based off of the stock GT Mustang but with a little bit of a twist. The legendary 5.0 302  pumps out 430 horsepower. The same as last year. There is an optional cold air intake which will put you at around 450 horses. Thats not all though. There also is an option for a supercharged engine and that will put you at 530 all the way to 630. The 2013 Shelby GT350 post-title package begins pricing at $26,995 for the normally aspirated version and $33,995 with the addition of a supercharger. Prices do not include the cost of the base car. This excites me A LOT because its a very rare car with only 350 of them to be made. I myself own a very rare car. Its a 1985 ascMclaren Capri with the 5.0 liter 302 cubic inch motor in it. Same as the GT350 has.  There was only 257 of them made and I have one. Thats why I love rare cars like the GT350.
